Cultural Committee

Cultural Committee works under the executive board of Sámi Parliament in Finland. The Committee prepares the proposals, initiatives, statements and comments concerning the Sámi cultural heritage for the Sámi Parliament. The Cultural Committee in also in charge of distributing the state Sámi cultural allowance and supervise the use of the money. Committee will report yearly to the Parliament about distribution of the allowance. It also makes new proposal for the amount of the Sámi cultural allowance in the state budjet.
